The Fab (Fashion and Bridal) Expo was held at the Convention Centre in Nov. 2009
The show was particularly well attended this year and Elbeth’s stand and contribution to the fashion show was a highlight for so many of the visitors. Her excellent fit and the quality of her materials were on show for all to see. Elbeth’s elegant and feminine gowns were complimented with jewellery by the Linde Collection www.lindecollection.com .
Elbeth Gillis launched her new bridal collection at a fashion lunch at OYO Restaurant on the 7th of November.The event was hosted by Olive Hamilton Russel.
Well known wedding coordinator Aleit gave an inspiring talk on wedding trends . The beautiful jewellery for the show wasprovided by Linde Collection.
Guests enjoyed a three course lunch and wines from Southern Right while watching the elegant and feminine styles presented by Elbeth.
All the proceeds for this event went to iKamva Labantu , a local charity.
Elbeth launched her summer 2009/10 cocktail and evening wear collection at a fashion lunch at OYO Restaurant in the V&A Hotel.Singer and motivational speaker Verity hosted the event and guests enjoyed a 3 course lunch complimented by wines from Southerm Wright , while watching the models gliding past in the understated, elegant outfits.All proceeds went to Cape Town charity iKamva Labantu.(Photogarphs by Robert Bellon)

Elbeth launched her new summer 2009/10 collection at a fashion lunch at the The Peech Hotel in Johannesurg.This beautiful boutique hotel situated in Melrose provided the perfect backdrop for Elbeth’s understated and sophisticated collection.The event was hosted by Edith Venter and all proceeds went to local charity Little Eden. Edith entertained every one with a motivational speech and guests enjoyed a 3 course lunch while models glided past in the vintage inspired outfits.
Elbeth donated some of her sample dreses to a local charity , the Princess Project.They lend matric dance and wedding dresses to those who can not afford a dress for their special day.Elbeth is passionte about helping the less fortunate and believes that every one deserves to look beautiful on their wedding day.

The show was particularly well attended this year and Elbeth’s stand and contribution to the fashion show was a highlight for so many of the visitors. Her excellent fit and the quality of her materials were on show for all to see and provided a contrast to many of the imported dresses.
